Recurring Dreams

An illustrative triptych based on recurring dreams I’ve had!

‘Pretty and Angry’

Based on a recurring dream about having to tattoo myself with brand logos in because brands would give money for ‘permanent ads’. Truly more of a capitalist nightmare.

‘Moldy Kitchen’

In my first apartment I had this recurring dream that I would walk into my kitchen and everything would be covered with mold with spiders as big as oranges crawling up the walls. I was CONVINCED it was a sign I was about to die. Ironically when I moved out we found black mold all over the walls behind our furniture.

‘Knife Fight’

This never comes as a specific dream but in dreams where I die there is usually a knife involved. Handling knives has always felt inexplicably uncomfy to me.
